Mimicking is a rare but very awesome phenomenon. This particular
phenomenon occurs when entities manifest themselves by mimicking a living
person or reproducing there voice along with occurrences. The older term for
mimicking is "Shape Shifting" By manifesting in this way entities can reproduce
sounds and voices of a living person, as well as seeing the actual image of
someone who is no longer living or a living person who mimics the movements
or expressions of a person who has passed on. The environment in which
conditions are favorable for this type of activity is unknown due to lack of
factual evidence to support it. Most paranormal researchers and investigators
believe that this type of activity is due to an entities ability to draw from a
living life force. The energy they use to enable manifestation is due to the
drainage of our biochemical-electrical energy. Much debate has been discussed
that demonic energies are at fault for draining the energy of a living being but
science tells us that it is quite possible. After all our bodies go threw severe
changes during a life cycle and many can be significant. Our individual
biochemical energy which is unique to each living being enables each living
being a certain amount of strength which enables your body to heal faster and
better then another. Mental health is an important tool in the healing process.
Whether you are healing mentally from stress or physically from an illness or
surgery. Believing you will heal enables you to do so in a prompt and more
efficient manner. Keeping in mind that this state of consciousness still exist
after death can support the claims of being able to draw energy from another
living being. Another term for this type of activity has been called "physic
vampire" based on the need for an individual to feed on the life forces of
another being to heal themselves. However we refer to mimicking in the same
way but from the realm of the dead feeding on the forces of the living.
I have personally experienced this phenomenon twice in my life. You could call
it luck but when you research the science of the paranormal you tend to run
across things of this nature regularly.
The first experience I had with mimicking came just a few years ago. When a
dear friend and myself decided to move in together. I was recently separated
and so was she with 2 small children. Being life long friends we knew it would
be good for the two of us along with our children to live in the same house for
support. Having known this particular friend since elementary school I also
knew of her first husband who died several years before. We talked a lot about
issues of the paranormal while she lived here due to my religious points of
view and with her dead husband being a constant subconscious issue with me.
I told her of many dreams I had about him. Keeping in mind I had only ever
meet him once and seen him twice the entire time she was married to him.
One afternoon after our weekly Chinese buffet lunch we headed over to our
favorite tattoo shop (Superior Skin Art) after a short time of being tattooed she
asked me to take a look at some flash that was in the tattoo parlor. Not
thinking much about it, she flipped to a page with several very "ma cob"
images. She asked me in curiosity "If you had to pick from this page of tattoo's,
which one would you pick?" not thinking much about it I answered while
pointing to two different images on the page "This one is cool, but I really like
this one alot!" She laughed and proceed to tell me that her dead husband had
both of those particular tattoo's. Shocked but not satisfied she flipped to
another page and asked me again. Which once more I picked the one I liked the
best and she proceeded to tell me again that her dead husband had that
particular tattoo as well.
This was on going issue while she lived with me, however being used to those
types of things I went on about my normal everyday life and "Doug" became a
constant topic of conversation between us. Several months later she was
planing her daughters birthday party at the park. Her daughter had a previous
birthday party at the same location while Doug (her dead husband) was still
alive. Myself and boyfriend (now husband) attended the birthday party and
after staying a few hours enjoying Alabama's October weather decided to head
home for the rest of the evening. Several days went by and my friend came to
me with again the same look on her face and asked me to take a look of the
photo's from her daughters birthday party. Not expecting to see much besides
empty boxes, ribbons and bows and cake filled faces of 6 year olds. I looked at
the photo's and handed them back to her. She then handed me a separate stack
of older photographs and asked me to look at them as well. I did as she asked
and was shocked at what I saw. She pointed out to me that, They had not
celebrated a birthday party at that park since Doug's death. In several of the
photographs my boyfriend who was with me that day at the party was in
many ways mocking the positions, hand movements, facial expressions, and
even body language of older photographs taken from when Doug was at the
previous birthday party. Knowing that my husband does not resemble Doug at
all, nor did he ever know him makes these photographs even stranger.
Tracy to this day believes that Doug was there in a spiritual form with his
daughters at the birthday party that day in the park. It makes sense that with
all the clues and signs left for us that he would make himself known in some
way. Shortly after she moved out, the dreams and activity associated with
Doug all stopped. She hasn't had any further issues regarding paranormal
activity since she left here, but should Doug or any other presence make
themselves a constant issue for her. She knows who to contact to get answers.
