Gamble Graveyard Cullman, AL |
The History of Gamble Graveyard The Alabama Paranormal Research Team is centralized out of south-east Alabama near Opelika Alabama. However we have several members from the Cullman area (North Alabama) Our team is divided to assure that our teams can cover both sides of the state. Some of our investigations done in Cullman and surrounding area's can be found on this page along with information from our North Alabama Investigators. Gamble Graveyard located in Cullman, Alabama is known hot spot for paranormal activity. Known locally for the ghost of a little girl frequently seen and heard here. This small cemetery located just off an old dirt road. Investigation of Gamble Graveyard Gamble graveyard has been investigated by many paranormal investigators in the area and for the most part always seems to be busy with activity. Our team witnessed this first hand on our first trip to Gamble Graveyard. Arriving at almost 3 AM early hours seem to be the best time to pick up evidence of this activity. We took tons of photo's ran recorders and shot video with no hard evidence to provide except that of an odd black mass which to my knowledge has never been reported in this location witnessed by our entire team. As our team stood toward the back of the cemetery we watched while something moved around and in front of our vehicles. In the dark we could not make out whether it was human or animal at the time but what ever it was, was dark enough to block out the light from the reflectors on Investigator Bert Overton's car. Reluctant but determined we slowly walked toward the parked cars to try and debunk any natural cause as to why this was taking place. Assuming we would find some dog or deer near the cars, we'd have heard them run into the woods that surround the little cemetery. As we walked toward the cars. Voices could be heard in the woods and the sounds of something moving was very distinct. As we stopped to listen the moving sounds would stop as well. A strange blue light witnessed by investigator/Tech Support: Mike Donaldson and Security: Shane Clark was seen as well. Upon arriving at our cars certain to find an animal of some sort, we find nothing! There is no way possible anything could have left the location without us seeing it or hearing it run off. Had someone or something been there it was indeed very stealthy. As we stood in the cemetery discussing what we had seen Mike and Shane again see the blue light in the wood line, upon asking me to come over and witness what they are seeing. No sooner did I take one small step when a massive black shadow darted from the woods to where we where standing. As soon as I reached for Mike Donaldson's camera to capture what we had all seen, the shadow was literally "sucked" back into the shadows of the trees. Some what shaken we gather up our equipment and leave Gamble graveyard. This episode of witnessing a phenomenon like the shadow as a whole team has happened only one time before at Camp Watts in Notasulga, AL. Gamble Graveyard has not seen the last of A.P.R.T. We will be back to hopefully gain hard evidence of the activity next time. |
