General Rules for Investigations: 1. BE SAFE! If it looks dangerous then it IS. No member should ever venture into an area that is unsafe or has not been checked for unsafe conditions first. 2. No A.P.R.T. Member should ever be alone. Always have a second person with you. Any and all groups should always stay in radio contact with other team members! 3. A.P.R.T. Members can not be active or non-active members of another paranormal group. Please do not apply if you are a member of another paranormal team or research group. Rules and Guidelines for investigators and guest investigators: These guidelines exist to keep our team safe and organized. If at anytime any member or person's outside our group attending an investigation breaks the rules or guidelines action may be taken against that person to either dismiss membership or void any further investigations with our team. - We are a drug-free group and any person's caught with an illegal substance or under the influence of a illegal substance or alcohol will be banned from our group immediately and permanently. NO EXCEPTIONS! - When on an Investigation with A.P.R.T. As a group, you solely take that responsibility on yourself, and will NOT hold A.P.R.T. or any of its members legally or morally responsible for accidents during an Investigation. You will be responsible for yourself! - Vandalism is illegal and will not be tolerated. - Trespassing is illegal and no member of A.P.R.T. Should go into an area without the proper authorization. - We will not tolerate any taunting or verbal abuse towards outside persons, other members or accompanying parties. - Our group does not and will not tolerate discrimination of any kind based on an individuals Race, Sex, Religion, Orientation, personal beliefs, etc. Any member or outside party may be asked to leave an Investigation and possibly banned from our group for violating this term. - Please refrain from taking any personal action against member's our outside parties. If a problem where to present itself please see myself (Faith Serafin) so that we might resolve an issue without any physical or verbal confrontation. - All member's and guest are solely responsible for there own equipment, camera's, digital recorders, cam corder's etc. A.P.R.T. is not responsible for the lose or damage of any equipment, outside of properties owned my A.P.R.T. - Any evidence or information gathered by the Alabama Paranormal Research Team to include pictures, video, audio and personal experiences is the property of the Alabama Paranormal Research Team and all rights are reserved for use on our website, media, or any social publications. Copyright restrictions do apply. Evidence and Restrictions: - Any outside group, guest investigator or accompanying party taking part in investigations with A.P.R.T. will not disclose information on cases, regarding locations, times, dates or ETC. to any outside parties. Guest investigators, or accompanying groups or parties must pass on any potential evidence for review by A.P.R.T. group officials, before posting to our website. This includes but is not limited to pictures, video, audio and personal experiences. Anyone who wishes to post pictures, video, audio or evidence to a different web site (this includes social networking sites) or outside media and or publications, please contact the Alabama Paranormal Research Team first for permission. - In the event that an official member of A.P.R.T. or trainee is banned or dismissed from our group on the grounds of rule breaking or excessive infractions immediate action can take place to dismiss membership or trainee status. - A.P.R.T. Reserves the right to refuse anyone including members an investigation to due infractions, excessive tardies, or lack of participation within the group. This rule is for the sole purpose of maintaining dedicated, focused and responsible investigators. While A.P.R.T. Understands that some investigations can't be meet due to circumstances IE: work, illness, family emergencies, needing time off ETC. We do require at least one investigation a month unless it's during the slower part of the year when we don't investigate do to holidays or tourist season: November-January : No investigations for Holidays unless they are local, or private residences. June-July: No investigations due to the height of tourist season. We like to think of ourselves as one big family here at A.P.R.T. And to ensure the comfort and safety of all our members and persons whom may accompany us we have developed these rules and guidelines.
