Investigation (2) of Port Columbus 1-2010
The Alabama Paranormal Research Team conducted it's 2nd formal investigation of Port Columbus in January 2010. To kick off
the Sea Ghost tours without fail the Spirits of Port Columbus once again provided us with outstanding evidence. An abundance
of EVP's and personal experiences.
We started the night off with a briefing for our newest investigators and associates who joined us for the investigation. Our team
was accompanied by our production team who was hard at work filming for a small scale video production that will be sold at
Port Columbus based on our investigations there. We began our investigation inside the large gallery where the USS Jackson
is. We left stationary mic's on both sides of the room to catch any sounds or voices of anything there. As well as wore our own
body warn audio, took photo's and video. Several investigators witnessed movement in the room on and around the ship.
Shadows of what appeared to be legs walked along side the opposite sides of the ship.
As we started to approach the room almost immediately our team began to hear the dragging and banging of something on the
stairs opposite of us. The closer we got to it, it seemed to dissipate. However, we did capture this audibly on our recorders.
We were also fortunate enough to witness a voice responding to our questions in the same location. As i asked if whom ever
was present was a sailor, a voice replied "NO!" Our group was able to witness this episode as a whole which was an amazing
experience.
We moved into the main gallery and into the Hartford later in the night with Port Columbus staff were we had a very significant
experience. Inside the Captains quarters we sat for an EVP session. As we asked questions our staff member was very
uncomfortable and upset about being in this particular location. Many people have experienced apparitions in the Hartford,
Cold spots, and the feeling of discomfort, and of feeling as if they are not able to stay in the location for very long. While this
was happening investigator Michelle Smith also became increasingly uncomfortable and we began to ask if whatever was
there to please leave the members present alone as they were feeling ill. Upon review of the evidence we did get several
responses to our request and questions in the Hartford during these sessions.
April 2010 A group of international military personnel booked a private tour for Port Columbus. APRT was fortunate enough
to be on hand as we are for every Sea Ghost Tour. We were honored to have the privilege of meeting military from Kozicstan,
Russia, Kenya, Sweden and abroad. The experience was fantastic and a honor for every member of the Alabama Paranormal
Research Team.

is done to keep them as clear as possible.

| continuous. It was captured inside the gift shop before the actual start of the investigation. However we have ruled this voice out as any team member or associate present. It sounds as if someone was telling us to "Shhhh, HA HA HA" |

The Water Witch is currently under construction but the Alabama Paranormal
